The results of the first iteration of the MUTUVAL Method is a draft of your new pricing model. This draft is continuously refined in further iterations to complete the development of your new pricing model.

MUTUVAL Pricing Journey

Your pricing model is developed as an agile journey combining two packages and options

Pricing Model Initial Design Package

In this package we develop a draft of your new SaaS pricing model using the value-based MUTUVAL Method.

The deliverables of this packages are: a draft of your new pricing model with up to 3 scenarios, a reference handout and framework for value-based pricing (e.g. strategies, models, tools, best practice examples) and a list of the gaps for the completion of the pricing model design.

The package is structured in these online modules: onboarding, input preparation (option), pricing model design (4 hours a day on 2 consecutive days) and review & next steps.

We recommend the participation of up to six people from different departments, such as sales, marketing, customer success, finance, IT, in this package.

To design a draft of your new pricing model it is necessary that we walk you through one iteration of the MUTUVAL Method in this package. For this reason, we may need to focus on a subset of your customer segments or value proposition. This focus will be agreed during the onboarding.

We run this package within a period of 10 days. We propose to split the pricing model design module into 2 consecutive days.

This online Pricing Model Initial Design Package, we offer for € 4,400 without VAT.

Pricing Model Refinement Package

In this package we refine the draft of your new SaaS pricing model using the value-based MUTUVAL Method.

The deliverables of this packages are: a refined and finally a go-live design of your new pricing model and a list of any further gaps for the completion of the pricing model design.

The package is typically structured in these online modules: onboarding, pricing model design (4 hours on 1 day) and review & next steps. We recommend the participation of up to six people from different departments, such as sales, marketing, customer success, finance, IT, in this package.

We run this package within a period of 5 days. We propose to run the pricing model design module on 1 day.

This online Pricing Model Refinement Package, we offer for € 2,200 for each package without VAT.

Guiding you to a value-based pricing model

As the founder and managing director of Optimal Price GmbH, I have been supporting over 200 companies from different industries and sizes in their value-based pricing since 2014. My expertise lies in the pricing of SaaS solutions, high-tech products and innovative services.

I have more than 20 years of experience in managing subscription-based pricing models and recurring revenue streams. Throughout my career, I have successfully worked across diverse industries, including finance, telecommunications and automotive. I held positions at enterprises such as Swiss Bankers Prepaid Services AG, Swisscom AG, MCC smart GmbH and Mercedes-Benz AG. Additionally, I possess a degree in business administration and have pursued academic studies in Munich, Milan and São Paulo.

In addition to running my own company, I work as a coach and lecturer for various universities and start-up organizations, including ETH Zurich, Zurich School of Economics, TU Munich, BaselArea.swiss and BayStartUP.

In private, I am the proud father of a son who is studying art in Antwerp. In my free time, I enjoy playing golf, collecting vinyl records, and I’m a fan of jazz, blues, and funk.
